Updated Skin Care/ Hair Care

I get so many questions from family, friends, and coworkers about how I keep my skin so clear. Honestly, I have been very blessed with good skin, but the older I get the more I realize how important a good skin care routine is. Over the past 3 or 4 years, I’ve really gotten interested in skin care. I have always had very sensitive skin, so I like to try out a lot of different things to see what helps my skin and what makes it worse. *Disclaimer* just because something works or doesn’t work for me, doesn’t mean that it’s for everyone or not for everyone. Everyone’s skin is very different, so certain products that work for me, may not work for you, and vice versa.*

Ouai Haircare: Anyone who knows me knows that I love Khloe Kardashian, judge me lol, but when Khloe started talking about Ouai products that her hairdresser launched in Sephora, I had to try them out. I use the Repair Shampoo and Conditioner. I also LOVE the Rose Hair & Body Oil and the Memory Mist. I can tell a HUGE difference in my hair since I started using all of the products. I especially love the memory mist, it helps my curls last for days. My hair is fine, so it breaks easily, so the less heat I put on it, the better.

MOROCCANOIL: I’ve been using Moroccanoil since my freshman year of college. It makes my hair so soft and shiny. I have recently tried the Dry Shampoo, and it is hands down one of my favorites that I have ever tried. I don’t regularly use the shampoo and conditioner, but both are also great. It’s also a plus how AMAZING all of these products smell. They have recently released body care, I haven’t had a chance to try, but I can’t wait to try them out.

Boscia Face Masks: They have a few types of masks to help with different problem types, my personal favorite is the Tsubaki Oil Deep Hydration Hydrogel Mask. They are not too watery and don’t have a scent. I try to use 2 masks a week to keep my face hydrated.

OLEHENRIKSEN: I received a few samples of these products in my Sephora Play Box. I tried out the Truth Serum, the Moisturizer, and the Night Gel and have been using them ever since. They are anti-aging and the Truth Serum is full of Vitamin C and Collagen to help brighten your skin. Sephora currently has all 3 products packaged together so you can try them all without paying full price.

First Aid Beauty Moisturizer: The Hello FAB Coconut Skin Smoothie Priming Moisturizer is amazing and is light weight and smells so good. It’s a great moisturizer and it also primes and brightens your skin. I typically don’t use a primer when I use this.

Kate Somerville: Kate Somerville is another brand that I absolutely LOVE all of the products that I have tried. I use the ExfoliKate every other day or so instead of my everyday cleanser to exfoliate and help with the texture on my skin.

Fresh Rose Toner: I fell in love with the Rose Deep Hydration Facial Toner the first time I used it. It’s an alcohol- free toner that leaves my skin feeling soft and smelling like roses.

SUNDAY RILEY: Their first product I tried was the U.F.O. Ultra-Clarifying Face Oil and I loved it, it helps clear pores and prevent acne. I use the C.E.O. C + E Micro-Dissolve Cleansing Oil as well, it also helps clear pores and leaves your skin looking bright. My most recent favorite is Luna Sleeping Night Oil, it’s a retinol oil. I apply it at night after I’ve washed my face and it helps with my texture and redness.

I hope you all enjoy this list. Let me know what some of your beauty and hair products are!
